My name is Jana Miller. I'm a web designer,
living in Halifax, Nova Scotia and
I love creating new things. While my design background is varied, I have focused online as it’s the medium where I most like to help people tell stories. A site or ad unit that has great content won’t get the clicks if it’s not packaged and presented in a way that’s both easy to understand, easy to engage and easy on the eye. How the different elements come together is where I come in and can see a project through an initial concept to final execution. Sheridan’s New Media Design program was the stepping stone and foundation for my fixation on great web design & development. Having worked in both my current capacity and freelance for private clients, I have the added benefit of being comfortable designing for a range of clients, whether it be lifestyle, corporate or everything in between.
